Premium bespoke kitchen Muswell Hill

This Muswell Hill project brings together bespoke fitted kitchen cabinetry in two contrasting finishes. Light-coloured, textured upper fronts sit above muted green base cabinets, while full-height furniture provides a home for the built-in oven and additional storage.

A closer look at the kitchen furniture

The photographs show how the cabinetry is arranged along the main wall of the room. Tall units establish one end of the composition; the lower run provides cupboards and drawers beneath the worktop. Between the upper and lower cabinets, a patterned tiled splashback adds detail without competing with the furniture fronts.

The contrast is a useful part of the design. The pale upper cabinets keep a substantial area of fitted storage visually light, while the muted colour below gives the kitchen a clear base. Rather than relying on a single finish throughout, the furniture uses proportion, texture and colour to make the full arrangement feel considered.

What this completed project illustrates

A bespoke kitchen is not defined by one particular door style. What matters is how the cabinetry relates to the room, accommodates appliances and provides storage in the positions where it is needed. This project shows the finished result of those decisions in a Muswell Hill home.
